Life's A Beach...

I took India to this beach on Saturday {while Kent had some time with Reeve}.

It was fantastic to watch Indi work up the courage to wrestle with the waves as they continued to kiss crash at the shore. She was shy at first, even a little scared, but as the ocean reverenced her initial eagerness and stamped it's authority India's displayed an enormous capacity to respect it's power. She exchanged charging for creeping and learnt quickly when it was time to run like she stole something! I was really impressed with her. Time and time again she has shown an inclination of true love for this earth and all the beauty in and of it. I am so grateful that she was the first to make me a mother and just as the ocean silenced her original reckless onslaught, she fundamentally stills me.

and here's the evidence...

the calm before the storm

 Admiring the view
