Happy Mothers Day Mum

Mum

Today is Mothers Day and I wanted to let you know what you mean to me.
I love you more than any amount of words could say and no matter how I may try to eloquently arrange them they would still fall short! You have been a wonderful mother to me. You have given me a strong example of what it is to be a mother  who is immovable in her faith and who is unrestrained in her convictions! There was a time in our lives where we did not agree on very much! I know that this time hurt you and I'm sorry. I know that nothing short  of divine intervention and your love for me could have pulled me from the darkness of that time... And it was not until I became a mother myself that I realised that the divine intervention was a direct result of many nights of your bent knees and humble, sincere pleadings!  I love you so much for that!

Sherri Dew has been quoted in saying:
"Satan knows that those who rock the cradle can rock his earthly empire"

Thank you for being a mother who was never afraid to say No when it was needed and when Yes was an easier option! I will forever be grateful that you loved me enough to say No.
Thank you for  giving me life and providing me with a strong foundation to raise my children!
But mostly, I want to thank you for teaching me the gospel of Jesus Christ. You have given me the best gift that one mother could give another. You have taught me of my divine worth as a literal Daughter of our Father in Heaven, and you have taught me that as such I have the power to receive revelation for how best to provide for my children. My relationship with my Saviour and the knowledge I have of  the plan of salvation helps bring me great peace. It is a blessing to know that we are an eternal family! Thank you for loving me enough to be worthy to marry Dad in the temple and for teaching me that I was entitled to the same blessings.
In becoming a mother I realised that you sacrificed yourself to  provide for us, and I want you to know that you did a good job! I can see that our circmstances would not have proven easy! You faced financial hardships, injury and loss... But we never went without! We fought with fury but we also loved with the same ferocity!
You are an exceptional Grandmother and I look forward to being with you at Christmas and seeing you in action with all of your Grandbabies... Who love you so deeply!
thank you, thank you, thank you and Happy Mothers Day Mum!

We love you up to the sky and back again infinite, infinite, times and with all our hearts...

Love Georgia xxx

I must have done something right to get such great spirits. I am also truly blessed that they married people who would let me into their lives in a big way... love mum xoxoxo
